Entrance to the building: Entrance to the building from Brwinowska Street - driveway with double-sided balustrade. Next to the driveway a 4-steps staircase. The front door opened automatically with a student ID card or by the receptionist when the bell is pressed. The clearence of the entrance door 135 centimetres wide. The building with a high ground floor: after entering 7 steps up. On the left side of the stairs just next to the reception desk a mobile platform operated by a receptionist who also assists a person with disability to take a seat safely on the platform. The second entrance to the building dedicated mainly to persons with disabilities is from Chotomowska Street. The entrance door is 100 cm wide and equipped with handrails on both sides - it can be opened with a key (each Dorm resident with mobility problems receives a key to this door at the time of lodging) and a key to the lift, which allows them to go down to level 2 underground, i. e. to the exit door. The elevator can take a person to each of the five floors from the basement to the 3rd floor. There is a bell at the front door just off the elevator to call the receptionist if needed. Both entrances to the facility are equipped with surveillance cameras operated by a receptionist 24 hours a day. This exit is used by authorized persons only, including students with disabilities, vendors, laundry service, etc.
Corridors and passages: A building with 5 floors, two staircases, flat corridors without barriers or steps. There is one hydraulic lift in the building in the staircase on the south side and one platform at the reception at the main entrance to the building. The lift accessible to the public with a cabin size of 150 x 150 centimetres and a door width of 90 centimetres. The 90 x 100 centimetres platform operated by remote control by the receptionist. The reception open 24 hours a day. All rooms for persons with disabilities located on the ground floor of the building and adapted to the needs of the persons with mobility impairment.
Procedures: When entering through the main entrance, the assistance of a receptionist to operate the platform might be needed. The reception desk located directly at the entrance of the building. The receptionist instructs the person how to position themselves on the platform so that the entry is safe. The platform only operated by a trained receptionist. All reception staff have been trained in the use of the platform. In case of any problems with entering from Chotomowska Street, directly into the lift, the bell located at the lift door can be used. The receptionist, after hearing the signal and checking the monitoring image, is obliged to go down to the waiting person and provide the necessary assistance. Washing and drying facilities located at a low height accessible to wheelchair users. The administration also accessible for persons with mobility impairments.

Porterhouse place: A 24-hour reception desk located in the building at the main entrance, to the left, with the information and possible assistance.
Extra help: The service staff works from 7.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. The administration unit open from 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. The reception desk open 24/7. In the Dormitory contact with Residents' Council, 4 to 5 residents' representatives who help to solve various problems on an ongoing basis, especially in the absence of the administration staff available. Often the students help each other on their own, inform the facility manager of problems if necessary, request additional purchases or facilities.
Bathrooms, toilets, changing rooms: All bathrooms, toilets and kitchenettes located in accessible for persons with disabilities segments on the ground floor of the building. Telephones in all rooms.
Additional customizations: Braille markings at the segment numbers, similarly at the laundry, drying room and facility administration. The lift also has a touch panel with level markings and an alarm bell in case of jamming. No inductive loops.
Access and parking spaces: The building can be reached by public transport (Wawelska bus stop): tram lines: 1, 7, 9, 14, 15, 25; by bus lines: 157, 182, 521, 523. At the back of the building from Chotomowska Street possible to park a car. 5 parking spaces secured for Students' Dormitory No. 6 residents.
The right to enter with an assistance dog: Easy access with a guiding dog. Having pets in the Student Dormitory only possible with the written permission of the manager and the co-resident of the room or segment.
