Entrance to the building: Main entrance - three steps without any platform and a two-centimitres threshold. Internal entrance - no steps, flat access to the doors, three-centimetres threshold. The doors without automatic support and 140 centimetres wide.
Corridors and passages: No lifts. No hoists - upper floors inaccessible for wheelchair users. No thresholds on the ground floor - free mobility between rooms, public entertainment and recreation rooms and the canteen and lower terrace. The entrance to the canteen, terrace and public rooms 130 centimetres wide. On the ground floor a room for persons with disabilities - close to the reception, with a restroom adapted for persons with disabilities - flat floor, handrails and handles.
Procedures: Possibility to ask for help at the reception (in holiday season from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.); from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m., all night help from the night watchman available.
Porterhouse: tak
Porterhouse name Night security guard on duty from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. daily. Reception desk open during the summer season: July and August from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., other months from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Porterhouse place: Security guards' unit at the back of the centre building - located in the second outbuilding.
Extra help: Possibility to call a member of the centre's staff.
Bathrooms, toilets, changing rooms: Accessible room with bathroom adapted for persons with disabilities. No cloakroom. Public restrooms not accessible to persons with disabilities and during the pandemic the bathrooms are closed until further notice.
Additional customizations: No Braille and audio information.
Access and parking spaces: No parking spaces for persons with disabilities. Accessiblity by city transportations during summer time only.
The right to enter with an assistance dog: No possibility of accepting guests with animals.
PJM translator: If there is a need of the assistance of a Polish Sign Language interpreter, it is highly recommended to subbmit the application at University's Office for Persons with Disabilities at least 3 days before the actual date of the service.
